sportstotokorea is an entrusted operator of the
“Sports Betting Business”
of the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation.
The sports betting business is a national policy project introduced in October 2001 under the "National Sports Promotion Act" , a public interest project implemented for the successful hosting of the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea-Japan, the promotion of national leisure sports, and the creation of national sports resources.
sportstotokorea Co., Ltd. is entrusted with the sports betting business by the issuer of the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation.
Sporstoto is a sports leisure game of advanced countries that issues a payout to those who place bets on the results of sports games such as football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and golf and make correct predictions. The games are composed of the totalizator “Toto”, and “Proto” with fixed odds.
All proceeds raised through the issuance of the sports betting business are incorporated into the Korea Sports Promotion Fund, which is used for a wide variety of sports promotion projects such as various international competitions held in Korea as well as sports for all, professional sports, and sports for the disabled, thereby contributing to the development and revitalization of sports in Korea.
